George F. Hemingway II brings strategic business growth and strategy consulting experience to the Hemingway Group. He presently represents the Group within the Eastern United States.

Before joining the Group, he was a growth strategy consultant and a member of the executive team at Vivaldi Partners, a New York based growth strategy consultancy. Prior to that, he served as strategist for the C.F.O. of AIG, one of the world's largest financial services and insurance firms. Engaged solely on high level, strategic Chairman and C.F.O. directed initiatives his achievements in the broker-dealer industry served as industry-firsts.

Previous to that, George was engaged by Fortune 500 clients as a member of the A.T. Kearney strategy practice in New York, ran his own retail and consumer goods focused consulting firm and was the Director of Central European Franchise Group. He has served as a consultant to Orient Vendeglato Rt., Central Europe’s largest restaurant concern, on numerous concepts including Café Mozart and has extensive experience in Europe building chains from the ground up, including the popular Mr. Sandwich chain.

George holds a M.B.A from Columbia Business School and a B.S. from the Stern School of Business at NYU and is the holder of E.U. and U.S structural design patents. He lives in New York and is fluent in English, Hungarian and Spanish.
